Job Description
Galway Clinic is seeking a CNM2 to lead the development and delivery of nursing services in the respiratory unit.
The successful candidate will have a strong clinical and professional leadership presence, with a focus on efficient and effective patient care.
The role requires a high level of skill and competency, with a proven track record of clinical, leadership, managerial, and customer care skills.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to planning, with effective coordination of resources and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The CNM2 will work closely with nursing management, bed management, discharge planning, and the interdisciplinary team to achieve the aims of the unit.
The successful candidate will have:
- Current general registration in the General Division with NMBI
- BSc qualification preferred, management qualification and Respiratory post graduate qualification also desirable
- Nursing experience of 5 years in total, with 3-4 years Respiratory nursing experience or related area
The CNM2 will be responsible for:
- Coordinating, managing and leading the development and delivery of nursing services in the respiratory unit
- Demonstrating a high level of skill and competency to aid the efficient, effective care and streamlining of patients through the unit
- Co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within the clinical area
The successful candidate will be a strong leader, with the ability to motivate staff and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
