Clinical Nurse Manager Opportunity in Galway City
A state-of-the-art nursing home in Galway seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to step up to an Assistant Director of Nursing role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting internal audits and following up on results.
- Inducting staff and providing ongoing training and development.
- Encouraging innovative practice and implementing company standards.
- Communicating with clinical staff and establishing good relationships with external agencies.
- Implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Participating in staff selection and training needs analysis.
Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years of management experience in the care of older persons.
- Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
- Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and promote a team environment.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the company.
