Seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a state-of-the-art nursing home in Galway, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and driving innovation in a dynamic and forward-thinking company.
Galway City is home to a state-of-the-art nursing home that offers a unique opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager to take on a leadership role and drive excellence in patient care. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care to residents, while also contributing to the development of the home's clinical strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits and implement improvements to ensure compliance with Company and HIQA standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Encourage innovative practice and promote a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Liaise with external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Implement and maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the home.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
- Participate in the selection and interviewing of staff to ensure the best possible candidates are appointed.
- Conduct regular training needs analysis to identify areas for improvement and development.
- Ensure clinical practice in the home meets Regulations & Standards.
Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years of management experience in the last 6 years in care of the older person.
- Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
- Proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Sound decision-making ability and results-driven.
- Ability to work well and promote a team environment.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the company.
