We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at the South Infirmary-Victoria Hospital in Cork, Ireland.
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the day-to-day activities of our clinical area, ensuring exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Patient Care: Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients.
- Resource Management: Coordinate and manage resources to ensure efficient use of staff and equipment.
- Staffing Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Staff and Service Development: Identify and implement opportunities for staff development and service improvement.
- Communication and Leadership: Facilitate communication and provide professional/clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team.
Deputising and Additional Responsibilities: The successful candidate will deputise for the CNM2 and take on additional responsibilities, such as carrying out ophthalmic biometric measurements and ensuring pre-admission assessments for elective procedures.
