Job Summary: Experienced Registered Nurse required to provide expertise and support in Health Management and Health Promotion at the Orchard clinic.
As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality health and clinical services to service users, promoting person-centeredness and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) with health, wellbeing and social care
- Develop nursing capacity, capability and professional leadership
- Improve health experience and outcomes for individuals with ID
- Lead in the delivery of community liaison nursing services
- Contribute to specific nursing-related objectives to secure achievement of key performance standards and targets
Requirements:
- Registered RNID or RGN with a 3rd level qualification at level 8 (Honours) degree or higher
- A minimum of five years post-registration experience, with two years in the specialist area
- Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development
- A formal post-registration qualification in the specialist area of Practice Nursing/Health promotion/Chronic disease management or a related area at Higher Diploma level or equivalent (level 9) on the NQAI framework would be an advantage
