**Clinical Nurse Manager II Role** Seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager II to lead a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art nursing home in County Galway, promoting excellence in patient care and resident well-being. **Responsibilities:** * Co-ordinate and lead a multi-disciplinary team in all aspects of resident care * Integrate evidence-based knowledge and research into nursing care and administration * Liaise with medical staff to ensure appropriate patient care * Report clinical issues to the Director of Nursing * Ensure highest standards of oral and written communication * Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice * Offer guidance, feedback, and support to nursing staff * Encourage resident participation in self-care and wellness * Embrace change and new initiatives promoting excellence in patient care * Ensure mandatory training is up to date * Empower nurses' participation in clinical decision-making and organisation of clinical care systems * Supervise patient nutritional requirements * Arrange safekeeping of patients' property **Requirements:** * Experience in the Elderly care sector * Knowledge of relevant legislation and HIQA Standards for Residential Care Settings * Evidence of continuous professional development * Excellent patient care to a high standard * Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication abilities * Ability to work on own initiative * Computer literate * Acceptable standard of English both written and oral
