Job Description

A Clinical Nurse Manager is sought to lead a dynamic nursing team in delivering high-quality care to residents in a Nursing Home in County Laois.

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to provide leadership and support to staff nurses and healthcare attendants, and to assist in ensuring smooth operation and high-quality care. **Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide leadership and support to staff nurses and healthcare attendants.
• Assist in ensuring smooth operation and high-quality care.
• Conduct audits on clinical and care practices and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure that all staff under your supervision are familiar with and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Document all staff counselling sessions and ensure records are forwarded to the relevant personnel.
• Organise daily duties and task lists for staff to ensure optimal workflow.
• Deliver training in your areas of expertise and ensure that all staff attend required training sessions.

**Requirements:**

• Nursing Registration: Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible for registration.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant post-registration experience.
• Experience in gerontological care and/or dementia care is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
