Job description Company Description Lois Bridges is Ireland's first residential and day program facility solely designated for the treatment of eating disorders based in North Dublin. We offer comprehensive and coordinated treatment programs for adults, incorporating multidisciplinary treatment which sees collaboration between our psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatric nurses, and peer support workers. Clinical Nurse Manager Required for 7 bed Mental Health Facility ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Hours: Flexible Working Hours Together with the Clinical Director and Proprietor ensure compliance with the approved center's regulations, the Mental Health ACT, the Judgement support framework, and any other relevant legislation. Contribute to the development and maintenance of nursing standards, protocols, and guidelines consistent with the highest standards of patient care and legislation. Provide strong leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice. Review and audit the center's Policies and Procedures with management members on an ongoing basis. Collaborate with residents, family, carers, and other staff in treatment/care planning and in the provision of support and advice. Demonstrate effective change management skills. Ensure that members of the clinical staff team are appropriately allocated to the residents' needs at any given time in terms of skill mix and experience, through careful roster planning and regular review. Together with the Clinical Director, Proprietor, and Therapeutic Lead, coordinate and oversee all elements of the therapeutic program within the service. Ensure residents' care plans are updated/audited regularly to the highest standards. Assist in providing staff leadership and motivation, which is conducive to good staff relations and work performance. Act as a resource and clinical liaison for clinical staff and other disciplines. Provide direction regarding best practice through open communication. Ensure that residents and staff are treated with dignity and respect in a safe working environment. Provide support and supervision to clinical staff with respect to their roles and responsibilities. Monitor, audit, and evaluate the quality of the service on a regular basis through observational audits, weekly reviews of incidents and accidents, regular reviews and performance checks of clinical staff, and regular interactions with residents regarding their views of the quality of care. Maintain professional standards in relation to confidentiality, ethics, and legislation. Attend Management Meetings with both the Clinical Director and Proprietor as scheduled. Manage all enquiries, in conjunction with the Service Administrator, to ensure that all enquiries into the service are dealt with in an effective and efficient manner. Criteria needed: Registered Nurse within Ireland (RGN or RPN) - ideally on psychiatric division Experience being a CNM1/CNM2 Management experience essential Expert knowledge of The Mental Health Commission's Regulations and Standards Salary: Competitive salary rate Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Food allowance On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Sutton, CO.
