Position Overview: This is a roles for highly motivated Registered Nurse to progress in their nursing career in a management role. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, managing resident care, and ensuring that all nursing protocols and procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the nursing and healthcare staff and ensuring that they are providing high-quality resident care Managing resident care by developing and implementing nursing care plans Ensuring that all nursing protocols and procedures are followed Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the nursing and healthcare staff Providing guidance and support to the nursing staff Participating in quality improvement programs to ensure that resident care is continuously improved Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care Requirements Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Minimum 2-3 years relevant post registration experience in Nursing Home or a similar setting. Post registration qualification in gerontology and/or dementia care is highly desirable. Demonstratable clinical and professional ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills.
