AWS Cloud Architect - Daily Rate Contract - Flexible WFH options Utilising public cloud is a trend that continues to grow with continued significant investment from the big players in cloud technologies. The market is estimated to be worth over €400bn as of late 2023. When implemented with best practices, public cloud can enhance data storage, improve data security, create smoother processes, add extra layers of data intelligence, better flexibility for organisations and be more cost effective for smaller organisations. However, despite all the clear benefits of using public cloud services, you have seen it implemented in organisations in a less than optimal way.Breaking planned spendbased on the original budget (the average company spends 18% more on cloud-centric ecosystems),lack of resourcesacross organisations in IT (need for more staff with cloud expertise) andcompliancewith regard to data storage are some of the key problems which companies have encountered from a lack of planning. You've experienced some of these issues in previous places of works, you raised concerns and they fell on deaf ears. With a highly established cloud architecture team based here in Dublin, you will have the opportunity to work with an ever-growing team of highly skilled professionals in their efforts to design and implement cloud solutions. The onus will be on you to take ownership of tasks, with an emphasis to highlight areas for improvement and implement solutions to address them. Salary/ Daily Rates - €550 - €580 per day (client will look to convert this role to perm/ full-time after 6 -months, base salary range €100k - 115k. Hybrid working model in Ireland - 1 day per week (for the first 2 months whilst onboarding), then flexible ad-hoc requirements to be on-site in Dublin city centre, thereafter. Visa Sponsorship - Not Available. HERES WHAT YOU'LL NEED: At least 5 years experience of architecting AWS Cloud solutions with a strong focus on implementation. The ideal candidate will hold anAWS Solutions Architect certificate(Professional is preferred but we will consider someone with an associate level). If you have held a professional level certificate in the past then we would be interested in speaking to you. Ideally you are an SME on all thingssecurityandcompliancein the AWS Infrastructure.
