Cloud Engineer Galway/Hybrid Our Client, a multinational financial services corporation seeks to hire a Cloud Engineer to join their agile, cross-functional team and to provide value to their delivery teams through technology solutions. Their team blends deep technology & business expertise with a passion for exploring and implementing new emerging technologies. They are passionate about opensource contribution and participating in foundations like the CNCF and CDF while embracing a continuous learning mindset in an open and transparent culture. The Expertise and Skills You Bring *Hands-on experience in 1 or more languages (Java, Python, Go, C# etc.) *Hands-on experience implementing automation & CI/CD pipelines. *Experience working hands-on with AWS and/or Azure. *Serverless hands-on development and architecture experience implementing Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, etc *Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CFT, CDK, etc.). *Understanding of common engineering best practices. *Hands on experience working with container workloads. *Passionate for new technologies and cloud trends. *Passionate about working in a DevOps environment.
