DublinTechnologyCenterbasedinBlackrockdeliversbestinindustryinfrastructureandsecurityservicesacrossZurichInsuranceGroup.Weprioritizeourcustomers,workhardtodeliverservicesexcellentlywithuniquetalent,andcommittoworkingwiththebestandbrightestpeoplefromthebroadesttalentpoolpossible.Webelievediversityofideasfostersinnovationandengagement,allowsustoattractthebestpeople,andtodevelopthebestproducts,servicesandsolutions.Qualifiedindividualsfromallwalksoflifeareencouragedtoapply.Thisrolemaybeavailablepart-timeorfulltime.Wewantthebestpeopleforourroles,andwerecognizethatsometimesthosepeoplearen'tavailablefull-time.We'relookingforaCloudPlatformEngineer.AsaCloudPlatformEngineer,you'lljoinateamofhighlyskilledPlatformEngineersresponsiblefortheend-to-endownershipandautomateddeliveryofpubliccloudservices.You'llberesponsibleforenablingandmaximizingourabilitytoexploitcloudforbusinessbenefitsthroughInfrastructureasCode(IaC).Yourmainresponsibilitieswillincludeprovisioning,configuring,automating,monitoring,andsupportingenterpriseCloudservices,enablingdatacentremodernisation/migrationinitiatives,andenforcingcontinuouscompliancetoindustryoperationandsecuritystandards.You'llworkwiththeCloudArchitecttosupportarchitecturaldesignandnewcloudserviceimplementations,provideoutofhourson-callsupport,andfollowbestpracticearoundcodemanagementandmodernsoftwaredeliverytechniques.AsaCloudPlatformEngineer,yourskillsandqualificationswillinclude5+years'experienceincloudengineering,experienceofmanagingpublic/privatecloudtechnologies,relevantdegreeordiploma,experiencewithInfrastructureasCodeLanguages,andexperiencewritingcodeinatleastoneofthefollowinglanguages:Java,.NET,Node.js,PHP,Python,orRuby.ExperienceofworkingtoDevOpsprinciples,familiaritywithversioncontrolplatforms,troubleshootingexperienceinvirtual/cloudinfrastructures,andprovenexperienceofworkingwithinsupplier-ledservicedeliverymodelsarealsorequired.ExpertlevelknowledgeofAzureorAWSwithassociatedcertificationsisaplus,aswellasproficiencyintheautomationofrepeatabletasksusingscriptingandexperienceinautomatedtestingsupportingoperationalreadinesschecks.
