Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security strategies and policies.
- Ensure the security of cloud-based data and applications against unauthorized access and other threats.
- Collaborate with IT professionals to integrate cloud security measures into existing systems.
- Act as a security consultant to IT Managers and specialists across various projects.
- Perform architecture gap analysis and develop action plans to bridge these gaps.
- Maintain and publish architecture models, including current and future state architectures.
- Manage vendor relationships and contribute to procurement activities related to services and solutions.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Qualifications: A 3rd Level qualification in a relevant ICT discipline or equivalent experience.
- Professional certification such as CCSP, CISSP, or CCA.
- Experience: At least 3 years in a specialised cloud security role.
- 10+ years of general experience in IT roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and security frameworks.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
