Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud security strategies and policies.
  • Ensure the security of cloud-based data and applications against unauthorized access and other threats.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to integrate cloud security measures into existing systems.
  • Act as a security consultant to IT Managers and specialists across various projects.
  • Perform architecture gap analysis and develop action plans to bridge these gaps.
  • Maintain and publish architecture models, including current and future state architectures.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contribute to procurement activities related to services and solutions.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Qualifications: A 3rd Level qualification in a relevant ICT discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Professional certification such as CCSP, CISSP, or CCA.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a specialised cloud security role.
  • 10+ years of general experience in IT roles.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and security frameworks.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
