Cloud Support Engineer

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to assist a global list of companies and developers using its cloud products.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, application architectures, and integration approaches.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will work directly with customers to resolve technical issues, provide feedback to internal teams, and drive customer communication during critical events.

You will also have the opportunity to work on complex customer problems, develop and present training, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for customers.
  • Coach and mentor new hires, develop and present training, and partner with development teams on complex issues.
  • Participate in new hiring, write tools and scripts to help the team, and work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 3+ months of network and operating system support experience.
  • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS) and database.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of network and operating system support experience.
