**Cloud Support Engineer** **Summary:** Provide expert technical support to customers using Amazon Web Services, leveraging advanced troubleshooting techniques and knowledge of cloud computing concepts. Amazon Web Services is the market leader and technology forerunner in the Cloud business. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications. **Key Responsibilities:** • Learn and use groundbreaking technologies • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs • Interact with leading engineers around the world • Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues • Drive customer communication during critical events • Drive projects that improve support-related processes and customers' technical support experience • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community • Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services **Why This Role:** This is a customer support role in the cloud, where you will be primarily responsible for solving customers' cases through various contact channels. You will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for our customers and drive customer interactions by thoughtfully working with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue. **Requirements:** • Fluent in Korean and English • Experience in a Technical role • Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, IaC, or DevOps technology, with hands-on and related troubleshooting experiences • Knowledge of fundamental Kubernetes management and troubleshooting workflow • Linux expertise (Ubuntu, Cent OS, Red Hat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies expertise • Understanding of IP Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, etc.) • Knowledge of AWS and Cloud Computing concepts (especially experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Cloud Formation or AWS Ops Works) • Effective communication skills to lead technical discussions and engage with customers in both English and Mandarin • Bachelor's degree in a Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics related field, or equivalent experience in a technical position **Amazon's Commitment to Diversity:** Amazon is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
