Job Description

As a Support Engineer at Amazon Web Services, you'll be at the forefront of cloud technology, working with leading companies to provide technical solutions to complex issues. You'll learn and develop with guidance from experienced mentors, and have the opportunity to drive customer communication and process improvement.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Learn and support groundbreaking technologies

  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer issues

  • Work on complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services

  • Drive customer communication during critical events

  • Improve support-related processes and customer experience

  • Big Data

  • Cloud Computing

  • Database

  • Networking

  • OS (Linux and/or Windows Servers)

  • Virtualization

  • Security Concepts

  • Storage and Content Delivery



A Day in the Life:



  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels

  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions

  • Drive customer interactions and coach/mentor new hires

  • Develop and present training, create technical articles and videos

  • Partner with internal development teams and participate in process improvement



Requirements:



  • Bachelor or Master in Information Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong customer focus and multi-tasking skills

  • Basic knowledge of IT technologies (Computing, Networking, Databases, Security, etc.)



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working in the software development or Internet industries

  • Systems administration, network administration or programming skills
