Cloud Support Engineer (Developer and Mobile Services) Summary: Solve complex technical issues for global companies and developers using advanced troubleshooting techniques and provide tailored solutions to improve their cloud experience. Cloud Support Engineer (Developer and Mobile Services) You will be at the forefront of cloud technology, assisting companies and developers who are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be the 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products, arming customers with the tools and tactics needed to get the most out of their cloud investment. The Cloud Support Engineer Developer and Mobile Services role supports messaging technologies, mobile technologies, and IoT technologies. Mobile Services and IoT are some of the fastest growing areas of technology, and we're excited to help developers innovate and deliver amazing experiences. Key Responsibilities: * Learn and use groundbreaking cloud technologies * Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customer issues * Interact with leading engineers around the world * Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues * Leverage extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve services * Drive customer communication during critical events * Drive projects that improve support-related processes and customer technical support experience * Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community * Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services A Day in the Life: As a Support Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for solving customer's cases through various customer contact channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat. You will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for customers and drive customer interactions by thoughtfully working with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue. Minimum Requirements: * Experience with one or more modern programming languages, data structures, algorithms, HTTP, and troubleshooting API calls * Knowledge or experience with system administration and troubleshooting in Linux and/or Windows * Knowledge or experience with Networking and troubleshooting
