Cloud Support Engineer - Storage and Content Delivery
Summary: Experienced Cloud Support Engineer with fluency in French, sought after to provide top-notch support for Storage and Content Delivery services, utilizing expertise in troubleshooting and communication with customers.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the market leader in cloud computing, and as a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of this technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers.
You will act as the 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products, arming customers with the tools and tactics to get the most out of their product and support investment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Learning and using groundbreaking technologies
- Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customer needs
- Interacting with leading engineers around the world
- Partnering with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues
- Leveraging customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams
- Driving customer communication during critical events
- Driving projects that improve support-related processes and customer technical support experience
- Writing tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community
- Working on critical, highly complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in French
- Experience with Content Delivery Networks, knowledge of web caching, validation, cache-control, and experience troubleshooting streaming issues
- Knowledge of media frameworks, such as FFmpeg, Quicktime, Direct Show, and experience troubleshooting filesystem, block, and object storage
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics or related field
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and/or experience with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience scripting or developing in one or more of the following languages: UNIX Shell, Python, R, Ruby, GO, Java, .NET (C#), JavaScript
