Cloud Support Engineer (Developer and Mobile Services)

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join their team in New Zealand. This role requires expertise in cloud computing, system administration, and networking, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

  • Leverage advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs
  • Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Drive customer communication during critical events
  • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community
  • Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services
  • Coach and mentor new hires, develop and present training, and participate in process improvement and strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Experience with one or more modern programming languages, data structures, algorithms, HTTP and troubleshooting API calls
  • Knowledge or experience with system administration and troubleshooting in Linux and/or Windows
  • Knowledge or experience with Networking and troubleshooting
