As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications. **Key Responsibilities:** • Learn and use groundbreaking technologies • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs • Interact with leading engineers around the world • Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues • Drive customer communication during critical events • Drive projects that improve support-related processes and customers' technical support experience • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community • Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services **Why AWS Support?** As a customer support role in The Cloud, you will be primarily responsible for solving customers' cases through various customer contact channels. As a Cloud Support Security Engineer, you will support our services that have a focus on enabling security specialists using AWS Services including Identity Access Management (IAM), Guard Duty, Shield, Key Management Service (KMS), Cloud Trail, Cloud HSM, Inspector, etc. **Requirements:** • 2+ year of experience with secure corporate access and communications between users/servers, securing architectures from various attacks and vulnerabilities, and understanding identity access management and cryptography concepts • Knowledge or experience with system administration, and troubleshooting any operating system (Linux and/or Windows) and networking • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) within technical and business settings • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/ Mathematics or related field • One or more security-related certifications • Knowledge of security and compliance standards • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and/or experience with any cloud platforms • Experience scripting or developing in one or more of the following languages **About Amazon:** Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
