Job Description

MHL Hotel Collection is currently recruiting for a Hotel Groups Reservations Supervisor to join our expanding Cluster Reservations Team based in The Spencer Hotel, IFSC, Dublin 1. This is an exciting position in a busy reservations department, so we are looking for someone with a passion for customer service and excellent attention to detail with a proven track experience in hotel room reservations and groups. The Groups Reservations Supervisor is responsible for the execution of the Group Reservations Departments policies and procedures and manage the day-to-day operations. You will report directly to Cluster Reservations Manager and the group Revenue Manager. The role is Monday Friday with Saturday cover occasionally and office hours 9am 5.30, 10am 6.30pm or 10.30am 7pm. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Groups: Manage the Group Reservation function ensuring that all groups are quoted in a timely manner (24-hour turn-around) followed-up, confirmed and contracted, payment collected and handed over to Operations. Ensure that every enquiry is tracked and followed-up using the tools provided and ensure that there is relevant documentation of all communication with clients. Ensure that all groups are entered into Opera correctly with relevant notes, traces and rates. To co-ordinate in advance with Hotel Operations any information/queries which concerns them in relation to a group. Complete all weekly/monthly group reports necessary to complete the Group Reservations Function. Manage all payment and billing information for each group, working with Front Office and Accounts Reservations: Assist Cluster Reservations Manager with the daily running of the office. Assisting with reservations training and uptraining Assisting with creation of rate plans and rate loading Compiling commission accruals and reporting for each hotel Keeping attendance and absents records in line with office requirements and ensure all is up to date. Assisting with any task has required by the Cluster Reservations Manager Ideal candidate will possess: Relevant Hospitality experience in Hotel Reservations / Senior Front Office Role with knowledge of Opera PMS highly desirable A professional manner and a great attitude towards providing high levels of customer service A willingness to progress their career with the MHL Hotel Collection About the MHL Hotel Collection: MHL group is a renowned portfolio of well-known, high-profile Hotels throughout Ireland.
