Suzanne House provides specialised individual respite care for children with life limiting conditions in a small homelike environment. Suzanne House is inviting applications for a Social Care Worker for permanent full time position. Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Suzanne House Permanent Full Time Ref: SHCNM2-RESPIT088-OCT24 Suitably qualified candidates must have a recognised qualification as follows: Childrens Nursing Qualification Recognised Management Qualification The successful candidate must be: On current register as maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and preferably possess the RNID qualification Have at least 5 years post registration experience of which 2 must be in the area of Intellectual Disability A minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory/leader role in health/social care, Strong clinical, managerial, and administrative skills evident in previous roles Ability to demonstrate that a management module has formed part of qualifications/studies in order to be PIC of the designated centre A commitment to supporting residents to live fulfilled lives in their community. Able to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and work effectively with a range of disciplines/professions. Demonstrate evidence of continued commitment to professional development Excellent communication skills essential Excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant Health Act Regulations, HIQA standards and all other relevant legislation.
