Excel Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Cold Store Maintenance Technician based in a state of the art Cold Storage facility in South Dublin. Ideally, you will have strong Electrical skills with supporting Mechanical skills and valid experience. You will have previous experience of working within an Automated Factory environment. This is a dynamic role and you must be willing to work in a cold environment on a continental shift pattern. Responsibilities will include: * Responsible for the Cold Store Maintenance function on shift. * To ensure that all equipment is repaired to the highest possible standards. * To record all work carried out in SAP and on Shift Report. * Implement permanent fixes for all issues raised on the SAP shift report. * To be responsible for the Maintenance H&S function on shift. * To provide daily feedback to management through recording and reporting on all Maintenance activities. * To be a hands on / front line leader of the team in breakdown situations. * To assist management in all technical activities (projects, equipment install, reporting and continuous improvements etc.) * To work alongside the Maintenance Team to build a continuous improvement environment within the facility. * To be a good communicator and have the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative. * To attend all required shift meetings. * To carry out a shift hand over meeting at the start and end of each shift. * Responsible for identifying equipment spares and informing Manager/Supervisor of spares used during your shift.
