Job Description
Commercial Accountant sought for a challenging role in a growing technical company based in Ireland, delivering services across Europe.
Our client is a leading provider of technical services, with a strong presence in Europe. They are seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team, with a focus on commercial accounting and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue weekly/monthly cost & revenue reports to senior stakeholders and commercial site teams across Europe, providing analysis on trends and movements.
- Review project cashflows and cost valuation reports each month from commercial teams across various sites.
- Partner and collaborate with commercial teams across the business, providing insight and commentary on projections.
- Maintain tracking of project performance vs budget.
- Communicate with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, legal and professional advisors, and banks.
- Build a thorough Working in Progress (WIP) process and prepare monthly reporting.
- Be familiar with revenue payment certificates from a cost and accounting perspective.
- Present monthly reports to senior stakeholders regarding revenue/costs/margins trends/movements.
- Assist in the development of new reporting through the usage of Power BI.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Excel/Office 365 expertise essential.
- Power BI expertise preferable.
The successful candidate will have an appetite for continuous learning, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders and being technically proficient is essential.
