Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Role: Work with the project controls lead and project teams to open and close projects within the business in line with company policy and procedures. Report to the project controls lead on commercial and construction risk that you become aware of on all projects. Run monthly project review cycle for selected projects, working with the project teams to ensure that projects are reported monthly in line with group procedures. Liaise with and support project teams with project reporting, cost control and management of project risk in line with company policy and procedures. Ensure that Key stakeholders are updated on project risks and opportunities and the commercial implications associated with projects. Review and comment on Margin sign off files submitted for projects. Work with the project team to ensure that figures submitted are accurate and that they are a true reflection of the commercial position on the project. Consider all risks for project at Margin sign off stage and ensure the teams are aware of these risks throughout the project. Support the project teams in their preparation and management of the Project Management Plan (PMP) Identify projects that carry the greatest commercial risk each month and work with the project teams outside of the monthly review cycle time to reduce these risks. Identify members of the commercial teams who are weak on their standard of commercial reporting, work with them to improve their reporting capabilities. Work with project controls teams on Group reporting monthly and yearly reporting cycle. Support commercial teams on their quarterly forecast cycle. Work with the teams to ensure forecasts are an accurate reflection of the projects potential outcome. All other works associated with the role.
