Job Description
Commercial Director sought for leading business in Construction Sector, requiring 8+ years experience in Contract Management, Financial Management, and Team Leadership.
As a Commercial Director, you will be responsible for managing multiple high-value contracts, ensuring effective risk management, and maintaining first-class client relationships. You will add value to clients by taking control and leading from the front through the entire project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Resolving contractual and commercial problems
- Contract assessment and implementation of contract law
- Risk assessment and ensuring effective controls and milestones are in place
- Commercial management of contracts
- Profitability Analysis for each project
- Reviewing and developing operational process flows
- Overseeing financial KPIs
- Ensuring stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations
- Budgeting and cost control
- Management and mentoring of Quantity Surveyors and the wider team
- Lead the tendering process and prepare competitive bids for each project
- Track, monitor, and present variations to the client
- Finalise delay claims with the client for each project

Requirements:
