Our client, a well established organisation, is seeking to recruit aCommercial Executive to support the Business Trading Manager to manage all aspects of the day to day running of their customer accounts, buying, and organising logistics. A good local knowledge of the main food retailers & their respective histories is important also.Access to a car & a full driving licence will be required, as the role will involve some visits to the retailers. Hours: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm Fully onsite role Salary: €35K+ DOE Responsibilities: Procuring fresh produce for resale, both domestically from Ireland and internationally. Ensuring timely delivery of fresh produce while strictly adhering to Food Hygiene Safety Standards. Coordinating the sourcing, transportation, and product forecasts with a keen commercial awareness. Assisting the Account Management team in optimising profitability within the fruit & vegetable category. Maintaining high standards of service when interacting with suppliers and customers. Upholding quality and product specification protocols at all times. Demonstrated experience in managing operating costs related to packaging, handling, transportation, and storage. Skills Required: Degree in Business, Marketing, or Supply Chain. Experience dealing with procurement and tender processes 2/3 years of relevant experience within a FMCG sales or trading environment. Proven experience in Sales. Proficient in all Microsoft applications. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to adapt your style to suit the situation. Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail. Full Clean Drivers licence and access to a car is essential.
