Join us as a Commercial Finance Analyst: The Commercial Finance team supports our Sales, Marketing, Retail and CRM departments with all aspects of financial assessment and evaluations. We assist by tracking and analysing sales performances against budgets, highlighting variances and forecasting future profits. The team plays a key role in supporting our business to streamline expenditure and make well-informed business decisions. As an analyst within the commercial team, you will act as the finance partner to the CRM (customer relationship management) department. You will ensure completion of budgeting and forecasting cycles and monthly finance reporting for your area of responsibility. What else it involves: To provide full commercial financial support to the CRM Directorate in Three in relation to retention costs and customer opex. To ensure completion of budgeting and forecasting cycles and monthly finance reporting for your area of responsibility. To liaise with the CRM department regarding all financially measured KPIs and assist with commercial finance support requirements they require on a continuous basis. Support the CRM department in any ad hoc projects and initiatives that arise Support the Retention teams, providing financial analysis of upgrade activities across Voice, MBB and FWA products. Assess commercial viability of retention programmes through assessment of customer discounts provided. Work with the Customer Care Department on budget and actuals, agreeing remedy plans where necessary. Calculate cost of retention for month end accounts. Preparation of the month-end accounts for Customer Care department, including any month end accruals and prepayments. Preparation and presentation of monthly KPI review packs with commentary detailing variance to forecast. Assistance in relation to any ad hoc queries. Ad-hoc project involvement. The Skills we`re looking for: Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or finalist level Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills Some previous commercial experience in a finance function, ideally in a consumer led customer environment. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to liaise with various levels of management across different functions (including non-finance departments). Experience of month-end accounting and production of financial reporting to tight deadlines would be desirable. Experience gained in a telecommunication related service environment would be desirable.
