Job Description
Our client, a globally recognized company, are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager to join their dynamic team initially on a 12 month FTC.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead finance business partnering across commercial teams to ensure that the business delivers on its vision of sustainable profitable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to senior teams in relation to innovation and new product development so that they deliver margin enhancing new product development
- Lead the preparation of the local financial plans, activity reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Control and manage the advertising and promotional spec in line with budget and ensure ROI is maximised.
- Set up and run an independent financial operation that follows best financial practices, working methods, and governance rules.
- Create and implement effective processes, systems, and procedures to ensure consistent, highquality results and business performance.
- Ensure Commercial and Supply alignment within the sales and operations planning process to ensure a robust financial forecast is in place.
- Identify risks and opportunities to the forecast.
- Provide financial analysis using both internal and external information to draw insight and conclusions that lead to actions that improve performance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA /ACCA /CIMA or equivalent);
- 5+ years of PQE
- Extensive business partnering experience
- A strong commercial acumen and understanding of the commercial environment
- Able to deal with ambiguity and change
- Significant and relevant professional experience within FMCG (Desirable).
