Commercial Manager Position Summary: Seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with an Electrical background to oversee domestic projects and provide commercial support to the Electrical Commercial Team. Jones Engineering, a leading engineering services company with over 130 years of experience, is expanding its Domestic Construction Market and seeks a Commercial Manager to join its Electrical Commercial Team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Commercial Division Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure contract compliance and provide advice and monitoring to the Construction Team • Identify potential commercial risks and report them to management • Oversee monthly progress applications, ensuring they include accurate remeasure, site variations, day-works, and claims • Procurement and contract support, in conjunction with the Procurement Department • Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to final account • Forecast and manage project turnover and cash flow • Review and commercial manage projects to ensure accurate and reliable reporting • Identify and analyse trends within the business and projects • Manage the commercial team across all projects Key Skills and Requirements: • Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics • Previous experience with an M&E Contractor essential • Minimum 8+ years' experience post-qualification essential • Experience in an Electrical role required • Excellent IT skills • Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills Benefits: • Competitive salaries in line with qualifications and experience • Financial support for further training • Opportunity to gain chartered status in-house • Performance incentives • Excellent Employee Incentive Scheme • Work-life balance • Professional growth through training and development programs
