Exciting opportunity for a strong Part-Qualified Accountant to join a leading Irish FMCG company. You will work as Financial Analyst, reporting to the Commercial Controller for Sales, Marketing and ESG Reporting.
- €45,000 - €60,000 DOE
- Location: Meath / 10 mins from Dublin 15 border
- Permanent position for a Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA)

The role will include weekly and monthly financial reporting for Sales, Marketing & ESG, ensuring all relevant reconciliations are completed.
Provide support to the Commercial Controller to achieve the tasks required by running and analysing reports accurately and to strict timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare weekly Sales report including week on week analysis of sales, margin and price.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets & forecast for the Sales & Marketing department.
- Assist in the monthly reporting for the Sales & Marketing department.
- Review and report monthly on debtor balances including debtors' days and trend analysis.
- Provide insightful and impactful analysis, including deep dives into trade performance e.g. promotion performance, value add performance.
- Reconciliation of longterm customer discounts to ensure that all liabilities are accrued correctly.
- Provide Business Partner support to the Sales & Marketing department as required.
- Support the Commercial Controller as required e.g. weekly accounts, KPI reporting, monthly customer deck and yearend audit.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with Excel to an intermediate/advanced level lookups, pivot tables, sumifs etc [Essential].
- 25 years relevant experience working as Part Qualified accountant
- Prior experience dealing with reconciliations and large volumes of data.
- Continuous improvement mindset always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
- Prior experience within a manufacturing organisation ideally within FMCG.
- Analytical ability to analyse large volumes of data and draw key conclusions from same.
- Ability to handle multiple competing deadlines.
- Relationship Building ability to build relationships across the business at all levels to deliver business objectives and results.
- Proactive and clear communication skills across all levels of the organisation and through all forms of communication written, spoken etc.
