Commercial Product Engineer sought to drive automotive commercial strategy in a cross-functional structure and work with customers to execute the strategy.
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Product Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in automotive commercial strategy and customer engagement to drive business growth.
- Work with Business Unit leaders to implement pricing strategies and deliver on financial goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute Annual Price Negotiation (APN) process for major Automotive customers.
- Articulate the value of Commercial Marketing activities and develop solutions to customer problems.
- Negotiate and execute commercial agreements, such as Supply Agreements and MOUs.
- Build strong connections with customer-facing teams to execute commercial strategy.
- Develop working knowledge of pricing systems, such as Model N, to ensure business needs are incorporated into system development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, etc) or equivalent.
- 5+ years of commercial experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and driven to continually improve.
- Ability to see big picture and business strategy.
- Data analysis experience, preferably with Excel, Power BI, or other tools.
