Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Property Manager to join our existing property management team. This role involves the management of approximately 250 retail lettings & licenses where Musgrave acts as Landlord.
Musgrave is a leading family-owned business with a 140-year heritage in food and brand innovation, supporting communities across the island of Ireland and Spain. We have a strong presence in the market with 15 leading food and beverage brands.
Our people are the heart of our business, and we aim to be a great place to work and grow. As a Commercial Property Manager, you will be responsible for the management of retail lettings & licenses, working closely with external partners and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage retail lettings & licenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Work closely with external partners, such as landlords, developers, and tenants, on specific property/lease management matters
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including the property team and other cross-functional colleagues
- Negotiate re-gears, lease renewals, and surrenders
- Manage budgets and value engineering in a shopping center or neighborhood store environment
- Lead from a company-owned/leased property perspective, providing strategic direction and guidance
Requirements:
- Full clean driving license
- RICS/SCSI accredited Chartered Surveyor or similar qualification
- Strong attention to technical detail and proactive self-starter approach
- Ability to work as part of a team and with multiple stakeholders
- Direct operational experience/knowledge of property and lease management, minimum of 3 years
- Experience in negotiating re-gears, lease renewals, and surrenders
- Liaising and working closely with external partners
- Proven track record in commercial property transaction delivery and stakeholder management
- Budget management and value engineering experience
- Leadership experience from a company-owned/leased property perspective
