Job Description

In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters representing top tier clients.

You will work directly with partners and your work will be high quality, interesting and challenging.

The role will involve a broad range of responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

  • Advising clients in relation to the purchase, financing, disposal and leasing of various types of commercial property including industrial, land and offices and residential property;
  • Drafting, reviewing and amending commercial leases, deeds of surrender, deeds of variation, side letters and license agreements;
  • Experience in real estate finance;
  • Other adhoc property related work as required.
The Person

We are seeking a suitably qualified commercial property lawyer who can demonstrate all or some of the following:

  • Comfortable with all stages of property transactions;
  • Exposure to related security documentation;
  • Property banking/ finance experience would be an advantage;
  • Strong academic credentials;
  • Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills;
  • A high level of commercial and business awareness;
  • A calm and measured approach to problem solving;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication skills; and
  • A proven track record in managing competing priorities and deadlines.
