Company description: FBD Holdings PLC Job description: Job Overview The Sales Development Manager will work with the Regional Head and Branch Manager team to execute the sales strategy and initiatives across the Business and Farm sectors within their allocated region. Job Responsibilities As SDM, your main responsibilities will include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Reporting to the Regional Head of Sales, this individual will be responsible for executing the agreed Sales strategy within their allocated region. Work closely with all Branch staff to drive delivery of new business and retention targets. Joint responsibility with the Branch Manager for the Key Customers within the Branch eg Top 100. Responsibility within the Region for the overall co-ordination of opportunity management, including CRM campaigns to grow product penetration in each sector. Champion CRM capability development and create a high performance CRM culture in the region Ongoing Upskilling of the Sales Network through Training and Coaching programmes. Working with the Regional Head and BM to ensure adherence to important compliance and risk standards. Work closely with Strategy team to drive Sales Initiatives. Support Head of Sales and be a delegate at key internal meetings. Providing reports at Senior Sales Management meetings to include internal and external market key insights. Job Responsibilities Liaise with all relevant Departments, particularly Claims and Underwriting, to identify opportunities to improve performance and business growth. Support the effective operation of the Sales/Underwriting forum and the Sales/Claims interaction. Develop and implement formal technical assessment processes and feedback structures to enable Regional Head to manage capability more effectively. Ensure all operational manuals supporting sales activity are up to date, understood and brought to life within the network. Liaise with Regional Head to identify changing customer needs and behaviours and ensure their needs are reflected in product enhancements. Work with Training Dept on training implementation and assessment. Proactive in developing external relationships to promote, maintain and grow FBD business. Represent FBD with third party partners to propose/secure business. Representation of the Company at key events. Education Excellent knowledge of Business and Farm products Expert in FBD systems including TIA and CRM Enthusiasm, drive and an attitude for making things possible. Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills Experience of delivering tailored insurance propositions and customer solutions. Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills as well as first class communication skills. A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with others to ensure the realisation of FBDs goals.
