About Our ClientOur client is an international supplier of products and solutions for in-store communication and merchandising.Job DescriptionThe Commercial Director will ensure further growth through strengthening strategic partnerships with existing retail customers and branded retail suppliers across both Food and Non-Food Retail. They should establish a clear vision for positioning the brand as the undisputed Market Leader in Merchandising Solutions in the local market.Develop Strategic Plan and Vision for the territory operations together with Area Director.Deliver Commercial Targets (Net Sales, Operating Profit) set by Area Director and Group Commercial Director.Lead business planning, forecasting and priority setting in the territory.Provide inspirational leadership to the organization.Build a high-performance organization through challenging, coaching and supporting the team.Build strategic partnerships with key customers and stakeholders in the country's retail industry.Be the key contact in the territory for Global Marketing Organization.The Successful ApplicantNational or International FMCG in one of the following roles:Group KAMSales DirectorTrade Marketing DirectorCategory Management DirectorNational big retail organization (Food/Non-Food) in Category or Operations.Retail supplier of 'non for resale' goods.Good knowledge, insight and network in the country's retail industry.Experience from value-based sales.Experience from annual negotiations with local retailers (Dunnes, BWG Musgraves etc).Team Management Experience (min. 3 people).EducationUniversity degree in Management/Economy/Marketing or equivalent is preferred.Key CapabilitiesStrong leadership skills.Ability to provide inspirational leadership through challenging, coaching and supporting the team.Leading by example.Creates business opportunities by being bold, brave and proactive.Takes calculated risks.Strong prioritization skills.Drives and implements change with speed and quality.Strong communication and presentation skills.What's On OfferAttractive remuneration between 70,000 and 100,000 based on experience of candidate plus bonus and car allowance.Opportunity to effect real growth and change in a well-recognized and reputable brand following the acquisition by a larger parent group.Grow out a team and restructure the sales operations.Contact: Jess McGeehanQuote job ref: JN-092024-6535110 #J-18808-Ljbffr
