Job title: Commercial Underwriter Industry: Insurance Location: Dublin/Hybrid A leading Insurance broker in Ireland is growing its team as its now providing a range of services to thousands of clients in areas across risk transfer, risk assessment, risk management and advisory, as well as claim advocacy for businesses ranging from SME to large multinationals. They are looking for Commercial Underwriters to join the team across Property, Motor and Liability mainly, but have ambitious plans for growth across the entire business. You will be a crucial part of assessing and analysing risks associated with commercial insurance policies, and work closely with brokers, clients, and internal teams providing exceptional service. Role and responsibilities: Evaluate and underwrite insurance policies, ensuring the best coverage. Collaborate with sub-brokers to understand their unique insurance needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues. Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to provide expert advice Job requirements: CIP qualification or working towards same. Commercial experience in Property / Liability / Motor. Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and best practices. Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suites particularly Microsoft Excel.
