Job Description

Job Summary: Commercial Underwriting Manager to lead the proactive management of the commercial portfolio and deliver against its business plan for FBD Holdings PLC. • Manage the commercial portfolio to meet the needs of customers and ensure compliance in all aspects. • Develop and implement Underwriting Product Oversight and Governance across the Commercial Product suite. • Contribute to annual budgeting, strategy, and initiative planning. • Utilize and develop MI to track performance and outcomes. • Supervise the control environment in Commercial underwriting and champion improvement and efficiencies. • Support underwriting teams with clear portfolio plans and quality underwriting and risk appetite guidance. • Collaborate with others to realize FBD's objectives.

• 5 years management experience in the Insurance Industry with a deep understanding of portfolio management and commercial insurance products. • Professional Insurance Qualifications, Associateship level or higher. • Excellent communication and report writing skills. • Outstanding numerical, analytical, and planning skills. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. • Self-motivated with the ability to work under own initiative.
