We're seeking a talented Commodity Manager to develop a robust supplier base and support growing demand in the MedTech industry.
Location: North Dublin
Salary: €70,000 - €85,000
The Commodity Manager will establish long-term relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. As a focal point between sourcing, manufacturing operations, quality, and engineering teams, you will lead cross-functional projects, driving collaboration and efficient operations.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier base to meet growing demand for Laboratory Diagnostic instruments.
- Perform end-to-end supplier management, ensuring delivery, quality, and cost targets are consistently met.
- Lead cross-functional projects, fostering collaboration and effective communications between teams.
- Collaborate with the commodity management team to align on demand pooling, price negotiations, and global commodity strategy.
- Stay informed about market trends and supplier capabilities to continuously optimise the sourcing strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commodity management or strategic sourcing, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
