About the Job: Reporting to the Community Development Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join and support the growth of an organisation that has already made a real community, environmental, and business impact. FoodCloud partners with community organisations across Ireland. Our Community Partners are an incredibly innovative and diverse network, with limited time and resources. The role of the Community Engagement Lead within the Community Development Team, will be key to building and nurturing our community relationships and developing a more engaged & active food sharing community in Ireland. This role will require travel to community partners to support community engagement work. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Research ? Identify the capacity and demand for surplus food within the community sector ? Identify activities that can support an increase in the capacity of the surplus food redistribution Development ? Grow the number of community partners working with FoodCloud ? Onboard new partners ? Build and maintain strong relationships with partners that can support in promoting FoodCloud ? Work with other teams to develop new projects that make our services more accessible Engagement ? Curate and lead on the circulation and promotion of community newsletters, blogs, events, webinars ? Streamline and lead communications to improve engagement with community stakeholders and increase visibility of our work to internal and external stakeholders in support of the Community Engagement Strategy ? Build the capacity of our Community partners to rescue more food through training, knowledge sharing, network building and showcasing best practice Impact Reporting ? Work with your manager to implement and report on our monitoring and evaluation framework, to assess effectiveness of our projects and inform future strategy ? Additional duties will be required per business needs Experience ? 4- 5 years experience in community research, engagement/ communications and / or business / community development / marketing preferred ? Experience working in the community or voluntary sector preferred Key Skills: ? A full, clean driving licence ? Strong research and data analytics skills, with excellent attention to detail ? Experience and confidence in group facilitation/presentation ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal ? Computer literate in dealing with Microsoft & Google Suites and CRM systems (Salesforce) ? Flexible, creative with the ability to adapt to a changing and challenging environment ? Able to work in a self-directed manner ? A commitment to the values of foodcloud / Interest in environmental/ food/climate change issues ? FoodCloud is a small organisation with big ambitions! Salary: DOE ? 24 days paid annual leave per annum, pro rata for part time working ? One year fixed term contract ?
