Excel Healthcare is now an Approved Tier 2 supplier for the HSE. We are currently seeking a Community Nurse for a Community Nursing Unit in Ennis. This is a large unit serving the people of Co. Clare and surrounds, providing both long stay and short stay beds. This job would suit anyone looking for flexible working hours and gain experience within the HSE. Responsibilities of this HSE Community Nurse job: Oversee the health and wellbeing of individuals in the community unit. Perform essential assessments. Help develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide care for residents who require general care, including residents with dementia, physical disabilities and chronic physical illness. Provide a comprehensive range of clinical nursing support including wound management and medicine management. Provide health education and support to patients and their families regarding treatments, procedures, and disease management. Requirements for this HSE Community Nurse job: Possess a recognized nursing degree or diploma. Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and have an active Pin. Hold appropriate work authorization to work in Ireland (e.g., EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work visa). Have experience within various acute settings. Demonstrate proficiency in English. Display necessary nursing skills, including patient care, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Provide professional references and undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
