Job Description: Our client requires a skilled Company Accountant to oversee financial operations locally. This is a permanent role offering a flexible and supportive work environment. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and manage the company budget. Oversee financial operations for several business units. Manage employee benefits, including healthcare plans, pension contributions, and other schemes. Handle day-to-day financial management and accounts maintenance. Collaborate with executives and business heads to track and consolidate profit and loss by business unit. Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes. Lead the year-end audit process and maintain relationships with auditors. Ensure adequate cash flow for business operations. Manage bank relationships and negotiate loans as needed. Prepare and present financial reports and business cases for meetings and investors. Handle tax filings and manage government queries related to financial matters. Oversee payroll for business units. Assist in improving financial systems and processes. Participate in insurance tender processes. Liaise with business units and other departments on various issues. Lead and manage the finance team, including direct reports. Understand and manage manufacturing stock valuations. Handle group reporting and manage relationships with the group finance team. Drive continuous improvement and automation of key processes. Manage capital expenditure reporting. Oversee company credit card management. Manage contracts for mobile phones. Report grant income to relevant authorities. Manage fixed asset management and intercompany reconciliations. Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar finance manager role. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. Proficiency in finance software; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities. Experience in business reporting. Advanced Excel skills. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from a recognised institution.
