Job Description

My Client is a global leader in fund services and they are seeking a Company Secretary AVP to join their team in Dublin City Centre. Responsibilities: You will act as the primary point of contact and independently manage and be responsible for the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of client entities in the provision of board support services to Cayman and Luxembourg domiciled funds and corporate secretarial services to Irish domiciled investment funds and management companies. You will organize, including the preparation and circulation of board packs, and attend fund board meetings. You will prepare detailed board meeting minutes and action points to a high standard in accordance with agreed timelines. You will ensure that all relevant regulatory and statutory filings are completed on a timely basis and be proficient in the use of the Central Bank of Ireland’s and the Companies Registration Office’s online filing platforms. You will be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable Irish and Cayman legislation, regulations and corporate governance codes applicable to the investment fund industry. You will ensure statutory books and records are kept up-to-date and are accurate. You will liaise internally with various departments and externally with registered office providers, depositaries, investment managers, compliance specialists and auditors. Qualifications: You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position gained within a corporate services provider or law firm. Ideally a MSc in Management and Corporate Governance, or be CGI or part-CGI qualified. Ability to manage a varied portfolio to a high standard and contribute to weekly department meetings. You will have excellent attention to detail, organization skills and the ability to multi-task; enthusiastic, motivated and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team environment.
