Business Compensation Analyst role involves developing and delivering compensation programs to support business growth, requiring expertise in market pricing, job leveling, and data analysis.

Job Description

As a Business Compensation Analyst, you will support business leaders and the people team in managing compensation, completing data analysis, participating in sales compensation, and partnering across the compensation team. You will also have the opportunity to help deliver and influence key initiatives on our roadmap of transforming compensation at Autodesk.

Responsibilities

  • Develop competitive compensation programs based on local salary surveys, competitive environment, economic trends, and local HR input.
  • Integrate insights from business and regionally aligned comp partners to produce ranges that reflect our talent strategies.
  • Manage participation in compensation surveys to collect and analyze results to ensure the company's competitive position.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to comp partners and other key stakeholders that identify issues, including tactical and strategic pay recommendations and/or solutions.
  • Support business-aligned compensation partners with analytics and insight, providing direct consultation to their clients when appropriate.
  • Interpret trends, forecasts, and economic factors to establish funding recommendations for various pay programs.
  • Participate in the successful completion of the annual compensation cycle, which includes the delivery of promotions, base pay adjustments, and incentives.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting techniques and evaluation criteria in completing analysis and developing solutions/recommendations.
  • Work independently or as part of a cross-functional team to prepare analyses and recommendations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience providing global benchmark analysis as an internal employee.
  • Expert knowledge in market pricing and how that connects to job leveling.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence, problem solve, and successfully collaborate and communicate with stakeholders of various levels.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Tools specifically Excel and PowerPoint, with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong project management and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work asynchronously and with overlap to US time zones.
  • Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, time management, organization, decision-making, and planning skills.
  • Expertise in costing analysis, statistical analysis, and modeling.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Global compensation experience.
  • Workday experience.
  • Expertise in the EMEA and/or multi-regional compensation environments.
