Job Description
We have been exclusively mandated by an insurance firm in their search for a compliance and data protection officer.
The role will report to the head of compliance and work closely with the Chief Legal Counsel.
The company operates a hybrid model with 3-4 days per week in the office.
Main responsibilities of the compliance and data protection officer: Act as DPO for the business Liaise with the DPCAssist the head of compliance with updating policies and procedures Draft board reports Assist with design and delivery of compliance training As an ideal candidate for this role, you will have previous experience in both data protection and regulatory compliance.
A strong knowledge of GDPR and consumer protection code will be required.Insurance industry experience is preferred but not required; we are also open to those from a financial services background.
You will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
