KERRY PARENTS AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION Post: Compliance Lead Contract: 3 Year Fixed Term, Full-Time (39hrs per week) Location: The Old Monastery, Port Rd, Killarney, Co Kerry - Travel on occasion will be required across all locations. Roster: Mon - Wed: 09:00 - 17:30 / Thurs & Friday: 09:00 - 17:00 *Rosters may be subject to change due to the operational requirements of the service* We are looking for a dedicated Compliance Lead to join our team and uphold the highest standards of regulatory and quality compliance across the Association. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will ensure that all services meet and exceed relevant legal, regulatory, and quality benchmarks, including strict adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices. The successful post holder will collaborate closely with management, staff, and external stakeholders to maintain a safe, ethical, and person-centered environment for our service users. This role will demand a proactive approach to compliance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care. The successful candidate will embody values such as integrity, accountability, and collaboration, demonstrating a commitment to person-centered care and continuous improvement in service quality. Essential Criteria Bachelor’s degree (Minimum Level 8) in Health or Social Care. Proven experience in a compliance or regulatory role within Irish health or social care services, ideally focused on services for adults with intellectual disabilities. Strong knowledge of Irish regulations, including HIQA standards, safeguarding policies, and health and safety legislation. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing and updating compliance procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies. Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Ability to lead, influence, and implement change across the Association. Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in all compliance matters. Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities. Be computer literate including proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge and proficiency of using information systems. A full driver's licence with access to a roadworthy car insured for business purposes.
