Composite Technicians REPUBLIC of IRELAND Aeropeople are recruiting for an experienced in Structures / Composite Technician with an aviation / aerospace or similar engineering background. Do you have an understanding of technical Publications and knowledge of Commercial Aerospace working practices? We are looking for people with the following skills; Duties:- 1. Wet and Pre-Preg layup, repair of existing structures in honeycomb and fibreglass construction. 2. Perform hot and cold bond repairs as per SRM, AMM, AD's, SB's 3. Identify damaged components by visual or tapping method. 4. Determine proper repair techniques and materials. 5. Ability to follow directions and document all necessary forms, work-packs, inspection reports. 6. Complies with all safety procedures. 7. Assist setting up a new composite shop and train any new staff for workshop. 8. Ability to determine if all work is carried out to the latest airworthiness directives, service bulletins. 9. Current HF Certification As an structures engineer with the client - the role will require: 1. Review / Assess Aircraft components IAW technical publications, CMMs SRM, AMM. 2. Write up inspection reports for customer review. 3. Good composite and metal work skills. 4. Have the ability to be able fully refurbish and paint the component your repairing. 5. Experienced in carrying out repairs on Aircraft flying surfaces within a workshop environment. 6. Be familiar with inspecting and releasing components to service IAW Airworthiness regulations. Desirable skills; - Experienced in holding company certifying staff approval and working IAW with company MOE. - Experienced in inspecting and releasing parts to service on EASA form 1.
