Configuration Management Operations Specialist (DevOps Engineer)In Our Automation, AI & Tools area, we are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our CMDB team. You will be part of an international team that delivers a CMDB system that primarily supports the configuration and change management processes.Responsibilities:Participate in day-to-day platform support within the team.Participate in the development, maintenance, and operations of the CMDB.Participate in the development, maintenance, and operations of integrations and data discovery.Initiate and participate in automation to improve the CMDB service and its operations.Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practice guidelines. Share knowledge and insights internally in the team.Be an essential part of continuous improvement of data quality and the services provided by CMDB.Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?You have at least 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in IT, working with infrastructure, servers, networks, databases, and cloud infrastructure.Or you have at least 3+ years of experience as a developer with strong infrastructure knowledge or background.You possess strong analytical skills and an understanding of discovery patterns, payloads, and data structures.You possess strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail.You have a strong understanding of networking and infrastructure, which includes servers, networking, databases, and cloud services.You have experience with discovery-related technologies, such as WMI, SSH, SNMP, and REST APIs.You have at least 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following: PowerShell, Python (Jython), C#.You have experience with Git and automated deployment (Azure DevOps).You prefer writing scripts to solve problems.You have good communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors.Knowledge of UCMDB (OpenText) or similar tools is an advantage.Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.About Aeven and the Automation, AI & Tools TeamAt Aeven, we are driven by a mission to safeguard and enhance the digital infrastructure that is essential to the lives of millions.
