Job Description

An exciting new role has become available for a Construction Administrator with my client based in the South Dublin area. *This role is an immediate start and interviews will be held from next week onwards* Main duties include: Maintain an updated database of prices and costs from suppliers and sub-contractors. Set up new projects on inhouse software system. Assist QS in sending out requests for tenders for subcontractors, gathering & reviewing site/unit plans etc. Assist QS in engaging with subcontractors to review and agree quotes for projects. Issue appointment letters, gather subcontracts, Collateral Warranties at commencement stage. Input budgets against plots in system and manage changes through live budget updates. Liaise with purchasing officer on any changes to budgets. Carry out monthly site progress reviews and update system. Carry out monthly contractor valuations, update system, liaise with accounts for payments. Carry out monthly analysis on site progress and spending against budgets. Report monthly on project spending and cashflows The ideal candidate will have the following: Strong analytical skills along with excellent attention to detail will be important for this role. You will be a self-starter and able to work independently. Proficient in MS Office suite and be systems savvy. QSexperience will be an advantage but not essential, experience working on sites or in the construction industry will be a plus. Full clean drivers licence/own transport essential.
