Contracts Manager (NEC 4) - Infrastructure Project
Location: Dublin City - North
About The Role
We're looking for a skilled Construction Contracts Manager to help deliver a major construction project in Dublin. Experience the complexities of NEC 4 construction contracts is key to being successful in this role. If you're someone who enjoys the challenge of managing contracts and ensuring everything runs smoothly, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing Contracts: Oversee and manage NEC 4 contracts, making sure everything is on track and in line with the project goals.
* Communication: Be the go-to person for any contract-related questions, working closely with clients, contractors, and our project team to keep everyone on the same page.
* Risk Management: Spot potential issues early on and work with the team to find solutions before they become problems.
* Cost Control: Collaborate with the cost team to keep an eye on the financial side of things, ensuring payments are made on time and budgets are respected.
* Change Management: Handle any changes to the contract smoothly, making sure they're properly documented and agreed upon.
* Reporting: Regularly update the project director on contract performance, highlighting any key issues or successes.
What We're Looking For
Background: A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or something similar. Additional qualifications in contract management or construction law are a bonus.
* Experience: You should have 5-7 years of experience in contract management, with some exposure to NEC 4 contracts.
* Skills: You will need to be confident managing large projects. Good communication and problem-solving skills are a must, along with the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
